The general public is not aware of the damage this type of lighting does to our health. The UV rays in these bulbs is damaging in the same way as sunshine. Are we to start wearing sunscreen, hats and protective clothing in our own homes due to these types of bulbs overtaking the market? I have systemic lupus and it is near impossible for me to shop in most markets, etc. It is my hope that in my lifetime I will see studies being done on this. Please pay attention to how you feel after a shopping excurision. We may not be able to change the lighting stores use, but we definitely can change that in our own homes, by using incandescent lighting (the old fashioned bulbs).
