The Common Core Standards are academically inferior; heavily promoted by the federal government and teach our children psychological attitudes and attributes and workforce skills instead of providing an academic education; and violate parental autonomy.  The accompanying federally funded and supervised assessments to test these psychological concepts and skills and the federal data collection system combines these test results with sensitive private data on our children, our families, and our teachers. As citizens of Florida it is our duty to protect our children from this invasive and ineffective education system, our state from federal overreach; and to make our concerns known to our legislators.
