People protested for slavery to end and look what happened, it ended. But now we have slavery again. We are holding animals against their will. Locking them in cages, running harmful tests on them, and keeping them from experiencing life as an animal. We fought to end slavery and now we are doing the same thing. We want to stop treating animals like they don’t even matter. By signing my petitioning you're bringing animals one-step closer to freedom.

We need to end animal testing because we are keeping them locked up in cages without any view of the outside. All they know is the cold cages and cruel hands that take them to be tested on by things that can kill them, for our selfish needs. They don’t get to explore places outside their cage. They don’t get comfortable beds in a warm room. They don’t wake up to a loving owner and nutritious food. They live their lives scared of what is going to happen to them the next day.

We test harmful products on the animals for our needs. We test things on them that can kill them. When they test something on them they don’t feel any remorse. They just dispose of them and find another animal to test on. They don’t care that whatever they are testing on them can make them sick and disfigure them. As long as they have a product that works, they don’t care how many deaths happens.

Also, it’s not like the animals that they test on bring harm to us. They do that to innocent house pets that bring joy to families. They don’t do anything that puts us in danger. But we take their lives as if they are a danger to the community. The dogs they test on could be in homes that can take care of them. They don’t ever get to feel the love that they should get. We just act like they don’t matter. But truth is that without all the house pets there would be a lot of lonely children and people in the world. They make the people that don’t have anybody to love happy.

I demand that they end animal testing and give them their freedom. They deserve to be in a loving family. They deserve to have the chance to run around freely in yard or field. I want them to be loved not abused. Even though they are simply animals, they deserve to be treated with kindness. Think of it as if you were in their place you wouldn’t want that type of life. You would want the chance to bring joy to a family and give them your love and attention and their love back. So why not help them to be able to do that. Help them be able to fulfill their dreams.
