Game developers give out free copys of games being remade for new consoles

The Issue

Many people already own older video games as a disk or cartridge form and those same games are being remade as games that can be bought through the PSN, XBL Marketplace, etc. at a price even though the game has little or no changes to it other than being put on a new game console. Those who own the disk forms should get a free download code for the game on the new console. All game produces and developers should acknowledge that their game was sold before as a disk and any remakes of the same game through download should be given to anyone who can prove they own the same disk of the game. This is the point where owning the disk should mean more than buying the download version.
