Rename B1G championship trophy from Paterno Trophy to Schembechler/Hayes.
Rename B1G championship trophy from Paterno Trophy to Schembechler/Hayes.
The Issue
Joe Paterno is a disgrace to college football, the B1G, and does not embody the morals or ethics adhered to by its member institutions. Glenn Schembechler and Woody Hayes are more appropriate figures and are both legends of the conferences flagship institutions. Paterno's National Championships were not accomplished while he was in the B1G.
