The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Board of Governors may have rescinded the Oscar nomination for “Alone Yet Not Alone,” (music by Bruce Broughton, lyrics by Dennis Spiegel) but we the people give our vote to “Alone Yet Not Alone.” Those of us who have signed below are asking The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Board of Governors to reinstate the Oscar nomination of “Alone Yet Not Alone.”

First and foremost we agree with what the singer of this lovely song, Joni Eareckson Tad, stated on her website (January 30, 2014) after learning that the nomination had been rescinded. “But amidst this wild roller coaster of a ride, `I will praise [the Lord] more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long.’”(Psalm 71:15).

 Thank You, Lord, that men cannot thwart our praises to You.
