I am writing to thank you for publishing Kenneth Miller's article, "Gay Teens Bullied to the Point of Suicide," in the December/January issue of Ladies' Home Journal. I am glad to see that a magazine covering issues of home and family is raising awareness of this serious problem.

As Miller writes, anti-gay bullying can affect all families, and puts the physical and emotional well being of children at risk. Tolerance should not be a matter of political or religious belief.

Kudos for publishing such a thoughtful piece with a wide range of perspectives on how we can combat anti-gay bullying.
