Dear Mr. Anderson

Through members of The Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility, active shareholders who have been working diligently with Delta on this issue, I recently learned of Delta’s announcement to become a signatory to The Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation in Travel and Tourism.

Delta Air Lines is to be commended for taking the lead in combating child trafficking and becoming the first major airline to adopt The Code developed by ECPAT, (End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes), and the tourism industry.

I am certain Delta’s decision will influence the rest of the industry and heighten awareness among their customers of this immoral act. Because the protection of children is a core concern to me, I wanted to personally recognize Delta for its efforts on behalf of children and to urge you to continue your commitment to making their protection a keystone in your business operations.
