Tell the FDA not to sugarcoat high fructose corn syrup

Tell the FDA not to sugarcoat high fructose corn syrup

The Issue

The Corn Refiners Association (CRA) is petitioning the U.S. Food and Drug Adminsitration (FDA) to allow manufacturers the option of using "corn sugar" as an alternative name for high fructose corn syrup (HFCS).

The newly christened "corn sugar" makes more and more Americans dangerously obese because it is in almost every "food" product; because it is so cheap; because it is so heavily subsidized by corporate welfare; which is funded by the very taxpayers who are diseased from it.

Let's all help deputy commissioner for foods Michael R. Taylor with some name suggestions that are a bit more accurate. Cob Slop? Corn Sludge? Sugarcide? Fatecules? Add your own helpful ideas to the list in the helpful note below and send to Mr. Taylor.
