The Senate Budget and Taxation Committee and the House Appropriations Committee are poised to permanently cut funding for Maryland's outstanding, life saving tobacoo-use prevention and cessation program.

Please tell the Chairmen and Members of these Committees to resist imposing a permanent solution on a temporary fiscal problem.  Remind them that there is a positive correlation between dollars spent on tobacco control programs and decline in smoking rates among adults and youth.
