Remember the dangerous criminal aliens that President Obama deported at record levels this past year?

Well, a large number of deportees were non-violent undocumented workers, contrary to the data put out by the federal government.

The misnamed Secure Communities program is actually doing a great job of removing gardeners and construction workers from the country, instead of murderers and rapists.

"Secure Communities" is a program that allows state and local police to check the fingerprints of an individual they are booking into a jail against Department of Homeland Security (DHS) immigration databases. If there is a "hit" in an immigration database, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is automatically notified, even if the person has not been convicted of any criminal act.

We don't want mini-Arizonas in our towns and cities.

We need local law enforcement priorities to focus on protecting our communities from dangerous criminals, not deporting non-criminal and non-violent immigrants.
