Don't cut the programs for the weakest and most vulnerable members of society to give tax breaks to the richest. Please stop the redistribution of wealth from the middle class and poor to the rich.

Ideas to cut the budget includes...
Cut the budget by not extending Bush's tax breaks and tax the rich and tax the corporations fairly. Also have the SEC do it's job and fine companies for illegal activities and restore the reputation of our financial markets to attract foreign investors.

Stop corporate welfare and save welfare for woman and children. Have the big corporations and war profiteers pay for the wasted government spending in war and in Corporate Bailouts which bankrupt the United States of America.

Shut down inefficient branches of the government, eliminating federal jobs will save us money. End the war and then trim the Defense Department to conduct national defense only, not international offense.

Cut the pensions for federal workers.

A midnight deadline neared for a government shutdown. "I feel strongly that my Republican colleagues are wrong in trying to move toward deficit reduction solely on the backs of working families and the middle class – cutting education and head start, cutting community health centers, cutting the social security administration, cutting LIHEAP and other important programs," Sen. Bernie Sanders said. "In my view, with the wealthiest people in our country doing extremely well, the people on top should also be asked to contribute toward deficit reduction. Further, the idea that the Republicans are prepared to shut-down the government over the funding of women's health care is totally absurd."
