Tell the Memphis City Council to vote for inclusive workplace protections

The Issue

The current non-discrimination ordinance for the City of Memphis omits important non-merit factors like age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. The ordinance must be amended to ensure that unfair bias is not used in hiring and other employment decisions. Most Fortune 500 Companies and cities of similar and larger size prohibit such bias in their employment practices. Inclusive workplace protections help employers recruit and retain the best employees and demonstrates the values of diversity and equality. It's time for the City of Memphis to provide equal opportunity for all in the workplace.
Send a message of support for these reforms to the Memphis City Council and Mayor.
