Tell McDonald's: We Want Cage-Free Eggs

Massachusetts, United States
Created December 9, 2010

The Issue

McDonald's continues to use eggs from battery hens in all of its U.S. locations.

Hens kept in battery cages cannot even spread their wings. Cage-free hens are able to walk around, and they have two to three times the amount of space as those kept in cages.

Battery cages are also filthy environments, and are a threat to public health. Cage-free facilities have significantly lower rates of salmonella than cage facilities do.

Sign the petition to tell McDonald's that it is time to go cage-free, for animal welfare and for human health.
