This weekend at the Marriott Renaissance-Airport Hotel in Philadelphia, PA, the organization NARTH will hold their annual conference. NARTH is no ordinary organization; draped in disguise as a “scientific research” community lays an organization that uses inaccurate and misguided information that harms not just adults but youth and families.

Marriott International, Inc. has received a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign annual Corporate Equality Index for the past four years yet they are supporting a fear inducing, homophobic group that targets LGBT adults and youth.

Take Action NOW ! Tell Marriott to stop supporting organizations that promote intolerance and hate.

Marriott International, Inc. has received a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign annual Corporate Equality Index for the past four years. The rating based on factors such as non-discrimination polices, appropriate and respectful advertising and external community outreach says that Marriott is a Corporate leader for the LGBT community and is a welcoming environment for business, pleasure and a professional environment.

This weekend the Marriott Renaissance-Airport Hotel in Philadelphia, PA has extended an invitation and is hosting the annual conference of NARTH (The National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality).

NARTH is a fear inducing, homophobic group that targets LGBT adults and youth that are non gender conforming or identify as LGBT. The organization uses deceptive tactics, inaccurate false and misleading marketing campaigns to invoke fear an incite discrimination against the LGBT community.

By allowing NARTH to hold its annual conference at the Marriott Renaissance-Airport Hotel in Philadelphia, PA, as a corporation you are saying to the LGBT community that you support the bullying and harassment of the LGBT community and condone the activities of NARTH.

We are asking that Marriott International, Inc who has said they are a defender and ally to the LGBT community to denounce the NARTH conference that is taking place November 6 &7th and remove endorsed sponsorship immediately.
