Geisinger Choice is refusing to cover Birth Center births at In-Network deductables and costs.

It has been proven that Birth Center births attended by Licensed Midwifes is as safe as a hospital birth with far less costly interventions. Geisinger Choice says they support birth centers and even list them as an appropriate substitute to a hospital, however they have faild to contract with ANY birth centers in Pennsylvania. Thus allowing a serious gap in coverage for pregnant members where a birth center birth is medically appropriate. 

Send a message to Geisinger Choice that their loop hole only gives women the illusion of a choice and that we will not stand for it.
