Tell Feds to Require Child Sexual Abuse Prevention

Tell Feds to Require Child Sexual Abuse Prevention
The Issue
Twelve Federal agencies are developing a plan for Federal youth policy. We want the committee to include a policy requiring that youth-serving organizations receiving Federal funds have organizational policies, procedures and training in child sexual abuse prevention.
Join with us to keep children safe from sexual harm by making sure organizations who work with youth implement policies and practices that reduce the risk of children being sexually abused.
Why? Child sexual abuse causes life-long, damaging effects on individual victims and their families, as well as society as a whole. Child sexual abuse can be prevented BEFORE a child is harmed.
Read and sign this petition to tell the Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs that child sexual abuse prevention training and organizational policies should be included in the Federal youth safety policy they are currently developing.
