The Bush Economic-Stimulus Plan Won't Work!

Dear Representative,

Keep your &quot;free&quot; money and invest it in U.S. infrastructure or providing health care to all in the United States. We need new roads, bridges, and our electrical grid&nbsp;is in dire need of repair. <br /><br />Bush&#39;s Economic Stimulus Plan just won&#39;t work... please reject it and give Americans a little bit more credit. <br /><br />More:<br /><br />While it&#39;s tough to resist &quot;free&quot; money, we must. The $150 billion Bush Economic Stimulus Plan just won&#39;t work. Most likely, Americans will either pay off debt or spend the funds at Walmart or other super corporations... which may help create a few new low-paying retail jobs, but it will most likely stimulate the Chinese economy... not ours! Don&#39;t be fooled. Resist the impulse, and do not be bought.<br /><br />This $150 billion shoud be spent on rebuilding American infrastructure, such as a new alternative fuels superhighway, the electrical grid, roads, or bridges. This will create new jobs that are skilled and higher paying... and it will ensure that all the $150 billion stays in the U.S. economy. Let&#39;s call it the new New Deal of the 21st Century. The old New Deal of the 20th Century is what lifted this country out of the Great Depression.<br /><br />According to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, we only need $120 billion to provide national health care for all. Hmm... a $600 shopping spree at Walmart vs. health care? This is a no-brainer.<br /><br />Resist the &quot;free&quot; money and let Washington know that you are no fool and you can&#39;t be bought! If we are going to go MORE into debt and soend $150 billion,&nbsp;then please use the money responsibly so we have something to show for it!
