The Issue
If you want to use mobile internet in India. The telecom companies in India put a limit on 2G recharge to 128 Kbps. (on 3G network)
128 Kbps is 1G The companies promise 2G but they give 1G speeds.
2G means something that goes upto 296 Kbps. If they will offer 296 Kbps speed then many people will be able to use mobile internet for everyday tasks.
- This will enable people to disconnect their landline broadband connections.
- 2G should be more affordable for students and people in villages.
- Internet is a need and not luxury, so these companies should offer plans that are affordable and usable.
