It seems that the only group that has not seen the pain and agony of this economy is the federal employee group. After taking a pay cut when I was employed, I watched as each organization ponied up. It is now time that the legislature step and take a voluntary pay cut and encourage a 5% cut for federal employees. For the hill - I would suggest 15%. Watch the Republicans balk. It may show a very clear seperation between the parties if the Democrats step up to the plate and take the first swing.
