Take care of Americans First

Take care of Americans First

The Issue

In 2005, Hurricane Katrina caused devastation across the U.S. Gulf Coast. Thousands were left homeless. Four years later, nearly 12,000 people are still homeless in New Orleans. Many live in damaged, abandoned buildings without electricity, water, or sanitation.- Homeless Resource Center

Yes Eypt, Lybia, and Japan are in great despair and we as Americans want to help. By all means we should aid these countries at their time of need, but what about American citizens who are still in need? There are still people in turmoil from Hurricane Katrina that devestated the south in 2005. As well as devestation from last year's oil spill. Please lets take care of our own citizens before we aid other countries!
