The objective of this petition is to get a real informative show on national TV to deal with our energy problems and to educate the public about Thorium. 

Safe Clean renewable energy has to be a top priority in this country. The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission confirmed to me “’ the information in the youtube link you provided on LFTRs provided factual information.  The speaker, Dr. Bonometti made a good case that LFTRs are safer than current light water reactors.”’ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHs2Ugxo7-8

After what happen in Japan and two reactors in Virginia were shut down after an earth quake here; how is it possible that we still are not discussing changing to Thorium Reactors? The only reason we use uranium today is to have access to weapons grade materials.

While I do not claim to understand how a nuclear reactor works, I can understand the difference in safety, the creations of jobs in this country and the faster safer road to cutting our dependence on foreign oil. How much of the War Budget should be spent to reduce use of fossil fuels? Please ask your government representatives to sign also.
