Support the Adjunct Faculty at NYU

The Issue

Around 70 percent of New York University's professors are adjunct, part time professors. That means that a large majority of professors at NYU work for relatively low pay, few benefits, and absolutely no job security. 

The adjunct faculty at NYU are on the verge of going on strike because NYU is refusing to negotiate in good faith over their collective bargaining contracts, which expired back on August 31st. 

Please sign this letter to NYU President John Sexton telling him you support the part time faculty at NYU.

Most recently I worked for the Wake Up Walmart campaign and learned a lot about the labor movement. I love ultimate frisbee, cooking good food, drinking coffee and craft-brewed beer, reading and poetry.
