The Human Relations Commission of Holland, Michigan has unanimously recommended that Holland's City Council amend its Fair Housing Ordinance and Equal Employment Opportunity Policy to include "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" in its list of protected classes.  Council is likely to vote within the next few weeks on whether or not to move forward with these inclusions.

Now is the time for everyone who cares about non-discrimination to help by signing this electronic petition.  Holland has an amazing opportunity to take steps toward true equality and fairness for all of its citizens and you do not need to be a resident of Holland to sign on!   Anyone can help Holland City Council members understand that there is HUGE support for this inclusive change.
