We, the undersigned concerned voters, expect the Michigan State Legislature to support the children of Michigan by fully supporting funding for K-12 schools. 

We expect our elected officials to defend Michigan schools with appropriate, equitable and stable funding and not to cut per pupil funding. 

We expect our elected legislators to uphold the Constitution and the intentions of the Michigan voters when passing Proposal A.  

We expect our legislative leaders to look for new innovative ideas to support our children, we don't expect them to look for loopholes that dilute the School Aid Fund by adding community colleges and state universities to the fund.

We expect them to vote against the unprecedented action of forcing permanent per pupil funding cuts.

As our Lansing elected leaders you can expect from us that we  are committed to the expectations outlined above and that we will hold our leaders accountable for the votes that they take on K-12 education funding during the 2012 primary and general elections.
