with Read Properties at Rheingold
WE ASK FOR:
-accountability for TAX BREAKS developer gets for providing 'affordable housing units'
-increase % of permanently 'affordable housing units' on development site based on Bushwick resident's Annual Median Income (not NYC AMI)
-Green Roof
-LEED (green) building certification
-The Developer provides community space permanently devoted to mixed intergenerational needs.
-local manufacturing and local businesses have priority in retail space
- Keep the M3 status of the Mademoiselle Industrial Budiling
-responsibility to adjacent landowners and neighbors
-community participatory Budgeting & input on park/public space programming
-changes in the landscape of Bushwick must be for the betterment of BUSHWICK first!
-no hotels
