Just like the majority of visitors, we have been overwhelmed by the pitiful living conditions of animals in the Zoo of Fréjus (83, France). Although it has been reported many times by animal protection association, this dramatic situation has been going on for many years.  This issue in particular, is a major concern for the Brigitte Bardot foundation, 30 Millions d’Amis, G.A.L.A, Code Animal, etc.

this scandal must be brought out in the open!  One can witness the poor, ill, wounded, stressed, and depressed animals, tiny fences without a square meter of shadow, empty food- and water bowls, pools of stagnant, unhealthy water...

The Director of the Fréjus zoo has been turning a deaf ear in regard to claims of associations and visitors for a long time…  We cry out for your help: he must take all necessary action to radically change the unacceptable living conditions of all these animals!
