State Senators LaValle (R - Port Jefferson) and Hoyt (D - Buffalo) want to pass a bill in the New York legislature which would allow for the licensing of naturopaths.  Read about it here.

Naturopaths are not doctors yet pending legislation (A01937 and S01803) would allow them to write prescriptions and perform tasks real Doctors are only allowed to undertake.  Practitioners of naturopathy do not believe in the use of such treatments as vaccines, antibiotics, or medications.  Many even deny germ theory.

Tell Senators LaValle and Hoyt and the New York State Legislature you do not want innocent people being harmed by a disproven 19th century belief system and you do not want valuable health care resources being wasted.  Licensing would result in increased insurance premiums, more sicknesses, more misdiagnosis, and more avoidable suffering or death.
