The County Executives 2012 Budget calls for a layoff of 22 employees at the Department of Mental Hygiene Continuing Treatment Centers. This is not only against the Collective Bargaining Agreement between CSEA and the County, it Stops Service to the most vulnerable of Dutchess County residents who will not fit the programs being offered by the contract agency.
We ask the Legislature to reject the 2012 Tentative Budget, end the Layoffs and return to the agreed upon transition plan that has been our past practice.
