It's the symbol of America, and for the first time, the U.S. government has granted a Native American tribe a permit to kill bald eagles for religious purposes.

How can any group native American or not claim to respect and revere the bald eagle, the symbol of the freedom of our country, and then ask permission to kill them. It doesn't make sense. The title of the U.S Fish and Wildlife service website says: Conserving the Nature of America - let's hold them responsible to their mission: to conserve the nature of America, particularly the bald eagle, our symbol of freedom.

There are too many people on the planet, we're using all of its resources, taking everything we can and robbing the earth like a bank. There are not enough bald eagles, hawks and other wild and free animals left on the planet. We need to understand that we share our home, planet earth with them. We are a part of them and they are a part of us.
