Indiana legislators are currently in the process of implementing SB590, an Arizona SB 1070 copycat that violates human and civil rights. It has gained substantial momentum and has passed both Houses of the Indiana General Assembly. The hateful and discriminatory bill is returning to the House to undergo final markups before needing Gov. Mitch Daniels' signature.

News of its possible passage is already causing fear and anxiety as the climate is becoming tense. We need your help!

Stand with us! Become a social justice advocate and send a strong message to Presidential hopeful Governor Mitch Daniels and others who are considering similar policies. Let them know that these hateful and discriminatory policies do not reform our immigration policies, but instead cause further problems, divide communities, and violate human and civil rights.

Please contact Governor Mitch Daniels and let your voice be heard! Let him know your outrage and that you are ashamed of Indiana legislators. Call, email, fax him so he understands that you will not be voting for him in the Republican primary or the national election if he decides to codify hate and discrimination. Encourage him to say NO TO SB590!
