Death Note is to be Americanized.All anime fans please sign!!If this movie(and any other) are remade they're not going to me remade well.Dragon Ball Z was a major waste of time and money.Hollywood can't remake movies!!They kill any foreign movies and try to Americanize them and they don't have the passion that the original movies have.I urge to please help me make a change!I want to raise awareness about about things like this. We may be seen as "weirdos" but we do have a passion and when people tamper with our passion we do get upset and our voice has to be heard! I'm sure that the majority of those in the anime community are just fine with  the Japanese vesions of the movies.They make us feel closer to the language and culture.
