It's important because Dogs have rights and it is not right to gas them to death when there are other peaceful ways. We don't need innocent dogs to be gassed here in Texas or anywhere at all. Dogs have rights the same way as Humans do also. A dog can't speak for their own justice so we can't take advantage of that and think that it's ok to gas them to death. Dogs have feelings as well, and they deserve the right to a peaceful death and not a terrifying one. Imagine if your pet dog was gassed to death, you can't bear the thought can you? Now, imagine a hopeless dog being taken against their will, being put in a box filled with 5 other dogs, then be gassed to death. It's not fair right? It's not right also. Signing this petition could mean an end to gassing dogs in Sherman, Texas Animal Shelters.
