Stop Freeport Trustee's from Political Censoring of Channel 18/44

The Issue

The First Amendment of the United States Constitution, adopted in 1791, provides that "Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Trustee's Kennedy, Pineyro, White and Martinez have written a resolution without the knowledge or the permission of the Mayor to silence public comment on channel 18/44In our working community many residents don't have the time to attend the meetings and the residents who keep up with our tax dollars with the Village of Freeport should be heard their question are more than likely questions that we would ask but don't have the time to attend the meetings. As high as taxes are in the village of freeport we need equal access to information more than ever. We pay too much taxes not be able to hear the entire meeting in its entirety without being edited. Sign the pledge and stand up for Freeport's channel 18 and 44 that cost the residents nothing in tax dollars. Let Trustee's Kennedy, Pineyro, White and Martinez know this is a vital service and we need to know whats going on with our money!
