In Windsor there are 25,000 feral cats roaming the streets, some are just homeless others face greater issues such as being pregnant, sick, or are freezing to death in -25 weather.  Most get euthanized because shelters are overflowing with ferral and/or stray animals. Expanding shelters can give these animals the break they need from being abandoned or abuse. I am a foster parent for cats who have been abandoned and abused I am doing what i can to give these cats a break from the streets and the shelter. But not everyone can be a foster parent so having larger shelters can atleast give them a break from the streets until a loving secure family can adopt them. I started this petition to see how many people would come together and vouch for the idea that animal shelters could be doing more then euthanzing or turning away animals, their only option should not be a death sentence, either by entering a shelter or dying on the streets. Help open the door that has been closed on them.
