13 year old Christian Choate of Indiana was beaten, denied food and water and slept in a dog's cage before he died. His father and step-mother are charged with murder. Investigators say 13 people knew about the abuse, including a doctor who Christian confided in, and they ignored it. We can't ignore Christian again. 2500 children die every year from abuse and neglect. This law will make it a crime to turn away and do nothing.
