Too many movies and franchises have been stripped of their essence, soul and character. Star Trek 2009 was/is an abomination to all things Star Trek, and was not even financially successful (with an over-bloated budget of 200mil and barely making 395mil worldwide). Fans of Star Trek need to unite and fight paramount and the J.J Abrams machine from making this sequel. We can no longer allow established franchises to be decimated for "financial" gain rather than creative.

Fight and hear your voices heard. Do not let this movie get made. We need to protect the Star Trek franchise, we must protect an institution that Roddenberry built, if he were alive today, he would be appalled by what was made.
