Stop charging customers $10/month for "premium data service"

The Issue

Thousands of Sprint customers who have a smartphone are being charged an extra $10 per month by Sprint for "premium data service" just because it's a smartphone, even if 4G "premium data" has never been available in their area.

Personally, I've been paying this fee for the past several years in Phoenix and have never had any data speeds above 3G, because 4G has never been available in Phoenix.

Why should any of us have to pay $10 per month just because we have a smartphone, using the same exact service that we would be using if we had a non smartphone?

Yes, smartphones might use more data than non smart phones, but don't advertise fast 4G/LTE networks, unlimited data, and a low priced "everything" plan, and then add a non advertised $10 fee and not even provide 4G/LTE "premium data" in some of the biggest markets in the country...
