SpiderOak (http://www.spideroak.com): Open source all client software code

The Issue

It is important to have cryptographic software open sourced so that claims can be independently verified or contested. SpiderOak claims to put user privacy at the forefront and prominently writes about privacy on its blog. However, without the source code available to the public, SpiderOak's claims cannot be verified and need to be taken with blind trust - this is not acceptable for software that claims to encrypt personal data.

SpiderOak states that it has open sourced some code, but this is not completely done yet. This is a request to open source the client application code for all platforms that SpiderOak supports so that others can examine the code for potential flaws and also build it on their own machines if they don't trust the pre-built installers available on SpiderOak's site.
