Special Ed programs in Orange County have failed to educate smart but autistic children over the years due to lack of collaboration with home ABA therapist despite pledges from parents who show their kids can learn otherwise.  The end result is these kids will end up nonverbal and unable to communicate or learn.  They will become  frustrated and dependent adults; this is costly for California and the family of these children.  Study has shown these students can be taught  to become independent and useful adults if our school system change their approach.  If you feel your child has not been educated by the current special ed program in California then please consider your power in Parent Trigger Law: we need 51% parents at any given school or program to agree then you have the power to change how the classroom should be run and which staff should be let go etc even changing  Principal if they failed to collaborate to improve your kids' education!  Please get the parents at your school to petition if you feel your school District or School had failed to provide education for your children.
