Throughout the South Florida community, there are thousands of animals that are wandering our streets, all without food and clean water. Although it may seem that undernourishment is the only cause of death in these animals, many get hit by cars and are left to die on the side of the road. I, for one, have seen too many dogs get hit by cars on my way to the local supermarket.
I want to help find these animals a safe home where they will be loved and taken care of. I also want to put an end to the overpopulation in dogs by making spay/neuter services available to dog owners who know that raising a puppy family is not something they can financially and physically handle.
By signing this petition, you are making a promise to save a life. You are promising to treat your pets with love and kindness. You are promising to make responsible decisions in the best interest of your dog.
If you wouldn't leave a defenseless baby on the side of the road, treat your pup with the same humanity.
Finally, if for some reason, you cannot provide for your dog any longer, please take your pet to the nearest animal shelter, ensuring that another family can assume your position as loving owner.
