The third generation of Pokemon is one of the real ground breakers. It took you from the KanJoh region to a whole new region entirely, paving the way for generations to come. It brought about the idea that HM’s didn’t have to always be the same moves. In the Hoenn region, we also saw our first double battles, which was, and still is today, a major step forward in the Pokemon world. Things like Pokemon having Abilities, and Natures were developed in this Generation. The idea that Pokemon weren’t just battling creatures, but could also be used in contests of beauty was pioneered in Ruby and Saphhire. The amount of individuals who bought Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald is in is over thirteen Million, and the amount of people who played the games is uncountable and honestly unfathomable.

This being said, Operation Hoenn Rising believes that Deoxys, the DNA Pokemon is the best candidate to fill this spot.
