Sony Computer Entertainment: Reduce the price of the PS Vita internationally.

Sony Computer Entertainment: Reduce the price of the PS Vita internationally.
The Issue
Recently, Sony has reduced the price of the PS Vita in Japan, to ¥19,980 (approximately US$200) and customers have been purchasing it in hordes, quadrupling the sales in the following week!
Clearly, there is a massive interest in this device, and people are more than happy to part with their money to buy it, if only the price is right.
The device is a spectacular display of the advancement of technology, with cutting edge hardware in the mobile arena, embracing the fidelity of the modern day smartphones with the use of a touch screen, a rear touch pad, gyroscopes to detect orientation and motion of the device, cameras for Augmented Reality (AR) gaming, and a wonderful social network using the "near" feature of the device; this device is the epitome of mobile gaming.
Thanks to the varied hardware of the device, it is suitable for casual touch screen games like "Plants vs Zombies" and full fledged console quality games such as "Uncharted: Golden Abyss".
I say all of this to impress upon you the amazing quality of the product and to make you realize that in its own right this is an amazing device: one that has been well engineered and well executed. It would be a terrible disservice, to the people who built it and to the millions who embraced and supported it by purchasing it, to let such a quality device slip into oblivion just because Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. doesn't do the right thing and
1) Provide sufficient advertising for the device,
2) Encourage customers and developers alike to embrace the platform, and
3) Bring the much needed price cut to the entire world.
Wouldn't you want Sony to treat all its customers equally and with the same amount of love as it did to the Japanese consumers?
I repeat that it would be a shame to let such a beautiful device, with great potential, die simply due to the marketing incompetence of Sony. Sony would be doing wrong towards millions of people to whom it promised that this device will have a 10 year life span. Sure, this statement may not be something that can be argued for in the court of Law, but Sony will lose the trust of millions around the world, who spent a lot of money on this system. And it would be a loss for Sony and the customers to lose out on such a beautiful device.
So, please, I implore Sony to treat all its customers with the same respect and love as the Japanese consumers and give us the much needed price cut. We now have evidence that such a price cut can dramatically boost sales and help the PS Vita survive.
So, Sony, DO THE RIGHT THING!
