If a skater lives on the west side of Bloomington, they have to drive to the far east side of even a different city just to skateboard. And with gas prices so high, that can be expensive. Bloomington is the 3rd largest city in the state and only has one tiny skatepark. Skateboarding and other extreme sports are a great way to make new friends and get active.
