We the undersigned citizens of Lake County Indiana and the surrounding areas were extremely disheartened and devastated to learn of the firing of a beloved animal control employee, Miss Victoria Beasley. Those of us who have had the privilege of knowing Victoria over the years, even if only for a brief meeting in person or online have not only been touched by the dedication and hard work of this woman but inspired to strive for the same dedication to the animals in our own lives. We respectfully request that it be seriously considered to reinstate Victoria to her former position within Lake County Animal Control not only for the good of the community but for the sake of the animals.
