What happen to mortgage companies helping the homeowner?
Why is it that most mortgage companies are not willing to work with you to save your home from foreclosure?
Home Foreclosure
Dear Representative
Dear Mr. President and Other Political Offices:
Dear sir:
This is the issue that I'm faced with: I applied for help from my mortgage company, Wells Fargo, on June 22, 2009 begging them to help me so that I would not lose my home. Due to my health I am experiencing increasing medical bills and other monthly bills. I wrote them a hardship letter, included copies of my other bills along with proof of income. I was told at that time that it could possibly take 30 - 45 days for a loan modification. I was informed that I needed to resubmit all this information over because it has to be current on July 30, 2009. I realized there are a number of people in the same situation as myself but why does it have to take so long to be completed? I feel that this company is only waiting for me to be in default so that they can foreclose and make money from the sale of my house. I have lived there almost 32 years and don't want to lose my home. So my main concern is why can't all the companies that hold your mortgage be willing to work with you.
