An area with trees is going to be rezoned for townhomes. The trees are of a wide variety and over 70 feet tall. It is one of the few green spaces in Davenport and a home for many animals and a beautiful area highly elevated near the North Park mall. There are many busy streets in the area, so the trees help absorb the harmful carbon dioxide from the cars, which helps the environment. We ask that these trees do not be cut down; the land would be turned to a man that is unreliable and has constructed poor-quality homes. Losing these trees for townhomes is not worth the cost to the community and environment.
