Prince George's County Public Schools is facing an $85 million deficit. This deficit could  result in increased class sizes, hundreds of  teacher layoffs and cuts in programs/extra curriculars. Our children cannot afford these losses. Many of our children are already in classes with too many students, which negatively impacts teachers' ability to meet the needs of all students. We need to remind Gov. O'Malley of his promise to make education a priority. It's tough times but our children can't be the losers in the budget crunch.  We need the Governor to make our children a priority. By providing full and fair funding to Prince George's Public Schools, the gap could be closed by $20million.   Urge Gov. O'Malley to provide full and fair funding to Prince George's County Public schools-- are children are worth it!
