As citizens of the Nelson Mandela Bay metro, we hereby declare our disappointment and frustration with the current political and administrative leadership of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality.

We submit this petition as active and concerned citizens as a declaration of our intent to SAVE OUR METRO from the ongoing political interference and maladministration which has resulted in poor service delivery across our Metro.

We therefore demand:

The urgent appointment of a competent, qualified the City Manager by the end of October 2013.

The appointment of qualified, competent Executive Directors in all directorates by the end of August 2013

The immediate release of the Pikoli Report on IPTS irregularities

The immediate implementation of the council resolutions in respect of the Kabuso Report
