The endangered Little Penguin population at Manly is threatened with extinction but there are things that can be done to save it's environment at Manly including:
- Protect the habitat and limit further development.
- Continue monitoring the population including annual breeding success and status of the population.
- Maintain mortality register.
- Continue to enforce the Critical Habitat declaration.
- DECCW to continue working with Manly Council, the Waterways Authority, NSW Fisheries and the community to better protect and recover the population.
